Or he can eat yoghurt, banana, oatmeal bars, cereals, apples for snack. As for vitamin B12, he needs to take suppléments (pills). It is difficult to get enough B12 from a vegetarian diet. I was a vegetarian during 10+ years, but now, i eat everything.
